Pekeng Pangulo Campaign Successful
We got her.As far as internet users are concerned, Arroyo is now officially a fake. Arroyo's website, kgma.org, now ranks 1st when you search Google with the keywords "pekeng pangulo."
We also bombed Raul "sira ulo" Gonzalez, Norberto "bugaw" Gonzalez and Toting "sinungaling" Bunye.

The question is, who will search for the keywords "pekeng pangulo"? I mean the purpose of bombing is to give searchers an unexpected or surprising (but nonetheless accurately descriptive) result, like what happened to Bush. Somebody might be simply searching for some sort of "failure" or its definition but of course you will get the site of Bush as the top ranking result. It's not even a surprise that I would find gma as a result, not necessarily the first one, when I search for "pekeng pangulo". Well, I am not really against it, but I think you should have tried some keywords though, similar to what you did to "sira ulo", "bugaw", and "sinungaling" hehehe. Something like simply, "peke" perhaps? How about their English word equivalent? "Fake", "psychotic", "liar"? Oh I forgot, Tagalog keywords are easier to use in bombing than their English counterpart...

I think we need clear heads in discussing things like this. Our constitution does provide us rights to air our grievances. We all feel oppressed and cheated. However, if we are going to use the Internet as an avenue, we must not droop to the level of the one we are criticizing. We can write protest articles with dignity. We can air our grievances and redress in a dignified manner. For if we stoop down to their level, we are no different from them.
The latest success of the blogging community against the "Search for the Digital Pinay 2005" *pageant* is a case for dignified protest. We were heard.
Maybe we can do the same thing.

Para ano, para ipagahasa na naman ang iba pa nating kababaihan.
