Justice for Ambo!
Rie Mon "Ambo" Guran, 21 years old and a 2nd-year Political Science student from the Aquinas University in Sorsogon was the latest youth victim of political killings believed to be perpetrated by the fascist Arroyo regime.
He just recently celebrated his 21st birthday last July 30. Ambo was Spokesperson for the League of Filipino Students in Bicol after unidentified military men killed Cris Hugo, a 19-year-old student from Bicol University and LFS-Bicol Chairperson last March.

(An hour after Ambo's murder, Dr. Chandu Claver, Bayan Muna Chairman in Kalinga and his wife, Alice, also a Bayan Muna supporter were shot in front of St. Toni?s College by two unidentified gunmen on board a black van. Alice died while Dr. Claver is in serious condition.)
Pres. Gloria Arroyo today announced that she is giving the PNP 10 weeks to solve the unabated killings of activists and journalists. Nothing to be elated about. Not when Ms. Arroyo practically pronounced the likes of 'the Butcher' Gen. Jovito Palparan a hero during her SONA.
